Dr. Qian Wang is a prominent researcher in the field of medical image analysis. His groundbreaking work focuses on the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence with medical image computing and informatics. This fusion of technologies advances several key healthcare areas: smart diagnosis and prognosis, personalized therapy planning and monitoring, and transformative translational medical research.

He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electronic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, followed by a Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. From 2013 to 2021, he established and led the Medical Image Computing (MIC) Lab at SJTU. As co-founder of the Medical Image Computing Seminar (MICS), he has helped cultivate one of China's most influential academic communities for medical imaging research since 2014.
